If I wanted a pair of diamond studs and bolts of opal, and transform it into a ring, which is to remove what the cost of the stones and replace it in a ring?

If you ask someone to ring and use the stones your earrings, not the redemption fee. You can even buy gold scrap. What you pay is the production of the ring and the material used for this and will, of course, the setting of stones. I had someone in www.etsy.com something similar for me. It is better for a "Wanted" ads on Etsy (the section that you called it alchemy). Jewelers will do that this type of work you publish a tender, including price, etc.
